Sales Representative Junior

Under the direct supervision of the Sales Manager, the Business Development Officer is in-charge of generating sales revenue from new clients through various sales activities such as prospecting, qualifying sales leads, actively conduct client calls, closure of accounts in a timely manner while ensuring that the customer relationship is strengthened through different marketing activities.






  • Responsible for the achievement of the monthly sales quota & client acquisition.
  • Recommends and implements tactical plans for the achievement of monthly targets.
  • Assist Sales Manager in creating and setting of the sales plan
  • Understands the products and services and identify specific target audience per product or service.
  • Maps out his/her weekly plan and presents it during Sales & Marketing Meetings.
  • Identifies opportunities, new accounts & analyze customer’s corporate profile.
  • Actively set 10 client calls or meetings with decision makers to present products and services per week.
  • Identifies customer’s needs & concerns at a functional level by intelligent probing.
  • Propose a solution package that would address the customer’s current business requirement and creates competitive advantage for the customer’s business.
  • Confirms with Sales Manager regarding the cost and proposed rates & changes thereof.
  • Completes the IMS template prior or during the first inquiry.
  • Ensures that client information are updated if needed.
  • Capitalize the business value created for maximum mutual long-term business benefit.
  • Prepares the Service Level Agreement and ensures that internal and external stakeholders understand and agree prior to start of the inquiry.
  • Submits Reports to the Sales Manager in a timely manner.
  • Execute marketing strategies to strengthen the relationship with the client.
  • Enhance product knowledge by identifying how existing clients use D&B products and services as an example for their target audience.
  • Objectively assess client concerns and propose possible solutions together with Operations.
  • Coordinates with Customer Value Management Officer- Sales Support for administrative concerns related to account management.
  • Monitors payment of respective accounts.
  • Orients customers and suppliers as requested.
  • Other tasks identified by management that needs to be implemented.





  1. Ensures that products and services are communicated appropriately to internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Suggests process improvement efforts, in order to ensure high and consistent standard of service of D&B.
  3. Responsible for verifying the accuracy of all information before processing or releasing to internal or external customer.
