Project Leader

Project Leader Credit & Risk Management

The position is within the Management Consulting Team, reporting to the risk management service line leader. The project leader will be involved in credit and risk management consulting projects for financial institutions, utilities and telco organizations, both in Italy and abroad.

Main activities include:

-         Development of risk management analytical solutions (from solution design through to data preparation, data analysis, modeling and reporting)

-         Provide advisory about regulatory issues (e.g. Basel, IFRS 9, etc.)

-         Project management, project document preparation and presentation

-         Support senior roles in the business development and solution design.

Experiences:

The successful candidates have 4 to 6 years of experience in consulting companies or in the Risk Management teams of Financial and Non-financial Institutions in:

• Design and development or validation of Basel-like credit risk models in at least one of these areas:
• Probability of default models
• Loss given default models
• Exposure at default models
• Other models (e.g. collection, early warning, etc.)
• Stress test
• Project experiences in the regulatory arena (two or more of these areas):
• Development of impairment models IAS 39 and/or IFRS 9 compliant
• Definition of Credit Policies (classification and evaluation)
• Involvement in design/validation of rating process
• Design and development of Risk Governance Reporting and Early Warning Models
• Design of credit process
• Design of Underwriting, Monitoring, Collection & Recovery processes

Requirements:

-         Degree in Statistics, Management Engineering, Economics, or Mathematics

-         Problem solving

-         Knowledge of banking/ finance world and related products

-         Fluent in English Language

-         Availability to travel abroad

-         Knowledge of SAS or equivalent statistical software is considered a plus.
