Business Development Manager

We’re looking for a talented Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. Successful candidates will work closely with prospects through the sales process from first engagement to negotiation and closing, ensuring they get a brilliant experience at every stage.

 

What you will do:

  • Be the point of contact for our clients at every stage of the sales-cycle
  • Qualify and manage leads sourced from outbound teams, inbound enquiries, industry events and self-sourced.
  • Build new relationships with clients through outbound sales
  • Structure and execute pitches to maximum effect
  • Negotiate and close new and existing contracts with customers
  • Collaborate with our growing diverse team
  • Help shape our product by communicating key market requirements

What qualifies you:

  • Must have at least five years B2B sales experience in software or data
  • Be knowledgeable about Open Banking or you come from the Fintech Industry
  • Have experience in selling into financial services, specifically to lenders and banks
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong track record of exceeding / meeting revenue targets
  • Have experience selling into senior stakeholders - including C-Suite
  • Excellent communication skills - speaking, writing and listening
  • Love challenges and want to contribute to ambitious business goals
  • Be flexible to travel to the customer as required
  • Be self-motivated and able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
