IT System Engineer


We are looking for a passionate IT professional who will work in the IT Operations Division, as a member of the team in charge of the installation, configuration and maintenance of the servers and applications that support the Business Services.


He will work under the coordination and responsibility of the Application Management Team leader, executing the tasks requested by the internal customers by applying applications changes, troubleshooting and tuning activities.

A strong respect of the Company’s policies and processes is absolutely a must, the candidate should also be able to act in a proactive way, being autonomous in monitoring, performance analysis, and patching the servers entrusted to him.


It is required a specific 4-6 years of professional experience in the setup and administration of applications supported by Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Operative Systems


It is also requested to provide this technical expertise:


  • Active Directory in multi-domain forests
  • Foundation of database and network management
  • Jboss EAP
  • Powershell, Bash Scripting languages
  • Microsoft Remote Desktop Services


Prior experience or skills with the following technologies will be consider a plus:


  • High Availability and Mission Critical Architectures
  • Microsoft SQL Server Failover Cluster
  • Dockers, containers, microservices based applications



The ability to read, write and speak English at least at intermediate level is a constraint for this position.


The position is based in Bologna.


A full availability to work out of the business hours is expected but not regularly requested. Call on duty service availability (1 week every 2 months) is requested.
