Software Quality Assurance Engineer

You will do things like...

Reporting to the QA Advisor, you will be participating in assuring high quality across all product life cycles of the development of sophisticated and innovative solutions.

Being part of a centralised Quality Assurance Team, you will work closely with Software Engineers and Product Managers in an Agile environment in order to:

• Validate product requirements, functional design working jointly with Product Owners and Engineering
• Set up, execution and maintenance of automation framework based on product specifications
• Creation and maintenance of documentation (test cases and technical) for internal and external stakeholders
• Being responsible for identifying, logging, tracking, and escalating bugs
• Manage defect reporting for internal engineering team and eventually from external customers
• Verifying fixes and regression testing
• Develop automated functional and regression tests
• Setup test environments and test data
• Participate in estimating and planning testing activities
• Nice to have: set-up, define and execute performance tests

You will be continuously challenged to improve QA methodologies and to improve the overall workflows, and provide accurate feedback to different departments.

• Experience in automated testing web applications (Java and Selenium, testNG)
• Experience in automated testing REST API
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with different teams.
• English is our vehicular language, so being fluent in English, both written and spoken is a must.

Candidates with the following, additional skills will be strongly preferred:

• Experience in automated testing mobile applications (Appium)
• Experience in testing responsive web applications with Java, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, HTML, REACT
• Experience in testing batch and database processes
• Experience with performance testing and load testing
• Experience in BDD
• Prior experience with TestNG, Jenkins, SauceLabs, Git, Stash, Confluence
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and why they are important
• Understanding of Java server-side technologies.
• Used to work with Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience in testing web accessibility
• Previous experience with the Financial Industry (Banking, Insurance)
• Previous experience with a Start-up is a plus
• Experience with a test case management tool (TestRail)
• Experience with cross browser and cross device testing
