Data Scientist Leader

This eclectic and rapidly growing group is looking for a motivated, self-driven Senior Data Scientist with business acumen, whose core value is to collaborate at the heart of our multi-disciplinary teams, designing and affirming on the market products that can explain complex data landscapes and insights to our users.

Within a flat organization, where you will find a culture of creativity, collaboration and support, you:

  • will develop machine learning algorithms, as well as traditional statistical models, in order to gather actionable business insights;
  • will explain and synthesise sophisticated data patterns and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • will implement data and analytics pipelines, in collaboration with the engineering team;
  • will participate in projects with clients, both external and internal
  • will contribute to the design and development of data driven products, jointly with managers and other data scientists from our team, as well as with other CRIF colleagues



  • PhD or Master’s Degree in quantitative field such as economics, statistics, computer science, mathematics, physics
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with the most popular data science libraries. Familiarity with cloud resources is considered a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Proven experience in applying both traditional and machine learning techniques (i.e. logistic regression, clustering, decision trees, gradient boosting). Experience with spatial analysis and GIS software is considered a plus
  • 4-6 years of working experience in quantitative projects (i.e. model development, optimization, segmentation, etc.).
  • Business knowledge of the banking or insurance industry is a plus.
  • Experience in project management activities (project planning, resource management, internal and external project communication, …)
  • A good command of written and spoken English is required.
