Analytics Manager – Risk Analytics

The position will operate within the Transformation Services Practice, specializing in the delivery of analytic solutions in the risk management arena for both financial and non-financial institutions.

As Analytics Manager, you will be responsible for leading the design and the delivery of cutting-edge advanced analytical solutions that support decision making process across our clients’ portfolios (e.g. risk assessment at portfolio origination or monitoring phase, pricing, etc.). An extensive experience of hands-on model delivery of advanced analytical solutions is required along with the ability to turn problem complexity into “business language” for key business stakeholders.

The Analytics Manager’s key responsibilities include:

  • gaining full understanding of business issues and regulatory background working closely with other key stakeholders, from advisors to product or solution owners 
  • designing of the methodological solution that is most appropriate to solve the business problem describing the expected business benefits
  • developing the advanced analytic models defining and employing relevant analytical techniques, ensuring quality of deliverables and meeting project timelines
  • management of solution delivery and engagement of all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • providing inputs into development or enhancement of analytical and decision solutions
  • supporting sales and client interaction
  • coaching of junior resources.

You will have:

  • a strong experience delivering data science/advanced analytics solutions using Python, R or similar languages
  • a PhD or MSc or strong quantitative degree (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, …)
  • good knowledge of different advanced analytics techniques
  • a proven track record of delivering advanced analytical solutions
  • hands-on experience of coaching and mentoring 
  • effective verbal and written communication (e.g. presentation skills, ability to summarize complex cases, etc.)
  • problem solving skills
  • fluency in English and/or French
  • project management experience.

National and international travelling may also be required. Previous experience in the development of advanced analytic solutions for credit risk management is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, self-started, target-oriented, able to work in a team (willing to face challenges, able to work under pressure).
